Q. 1. Describe any three organizational structures and their advantages and limitations. Illustrate with reference to an organization you are familiar with how restructuring help in the effectiveness of their organization.
Answer: Companies use three common types of organizational structure most often. But the type of organizational structure they choose is often based on their goals, reporting priorities and key strategies of upper management. Small companies usually start out with flat organizational structures, where workers of various backgrounds share business decision responsibilities. Answer: Essential components of carrying out an organizational analysis include evaluating external factors that can affect the organization’s performance as well as strategically assessing the organization’s own resources and potential. Internal strengths and weaknesses along with outside opportunities and threats are keys to an organization’s success. SWOT analysis, which stands for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, is a strategic-planning method an organization’s leaders often use to aid them in establishing business objectives or achieving the organization’s mission goals.
Q. 4. Discuss how resistance to change could be managed in an organization. Describe with reference to few organizations how change was managed successfully.
Answer: In business, the one thing you can be assured of is change. As the economy ebbs and flows, so must the strategies employed by business.
